PTC Wins 3rd Place - ANCA Tool Of The Year 2024

On short notice, our CNC Cutter Grinding Manager, Harry Reck designed and manufactured our official entry into ANCA Machines’ Tool of the Year contest.

The contest featured submissions from all over the world and is designed to showcase the power and functionality of the Anca machines and software - especially when combined with a creative and skilled operator.

The tool itself is designed in a way that it serves a purpose, i.e. has a useful application, while also displaying the more extreme capabilities of the software, given the unique geometry of the tool.

With this solid carbide tool, you can drill a hole, ream it out, and chamfer the edges - with unique adapting capabilities on the back end: a 3/8-24 thread with 7/16 hex flats.

We were honored to win 3rd place in this competition! The high quality diamond wheels included in our prize are already being put to good use.

It goes without saying our gratitude towards Anca and their hospitality, and the contest itself is immeasurable. We are looking forward to utilizing our machines further - into a more productive future!
